This Co-op was started because there is a need to know where our food comes from.
Simply put, too much of our food is imported. Food sustainability is a foundational block of society. Without the ability to feed the masses the community becomes weakened and societal bonds begin to break down. Physical and mental diseases becomes prevalent. Malnutrition has a detrimental effect on everyone, not just the children. The average family of four will consume about 75 lbs of meat a month. Not only do we need to be able to grow enough food but it must be affordable for families to not only survive, but thrive.
At Rains Farm we want members to feel secure in knowing they are getting what is really the best for them. Being part of a Co-op allows you to cut your food cost and buy local, a place you can actually visit where your food is grown. As the co-op grows, so does the products that will be offered to members.
Coming soon, grass fed beef and in season vegetables. We grow everything ourselves, just as nature intended. With NO hormones, NO antibiotics, NO pesticides, NO parasiticides
Remember you must be a member, Co-ops work because the members care.
